I would like to know what members think of colleagues setting their websites up with multiple geographical meta-tags linked to multiple home pages which are outside their areas.

Yes i see the point. it does suggest a proximity where there is none. it is a bit unfair in that if you can afford to do the multiple tags it creates an advantage. but then how do we regulate it? it reminds me of the time when directories started to encourage bigger ads in yellow pages to the extent that the book become unwieldy and redundant!

maybe we should also consider the advantage forming practice alliances may bring ??
