TOPIC: What Information and what format for what practice

What Information and what format for what practice 12 years 5 months ago #23

I thought I would put up a couple of meaty topics which are currently doing the rounds of the osteopath and osteopath today magazines. I have been to lectures where steve has suggested that you must / need to give a writtien infromation pack and consent form before the patient has even hit the couch. Is this realistic? and is it another big clinic vs small practice resorce problem? I feel it immpossible to tell a patient exactely what is wrong and how long it will take what to expect before a treatment. Because I havent examined diagnosed or treated this patient before. osteopaths or fortune tellers?
